Dallas' Cotton Bowl Stadium Is Being Transformed Into A Massive Dog Park For One Day Only
Dog Bowl is hitting Fair Park this May.
As dog parents we love to spoil our fur babies anyway we can. Well now is your chance to spoil them some more! Dallas is transforming its famous Cotton Bowl into a huge dog park, Dog Bowl, for one day on May 5. .
The massive football stadium will open its doors from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. There will be pools set around the field so your puppy can run around and get refreshed. If you have a particularly energetic dog there will be an agility course to get all that energy out. The event gives you the chance to let your dog run around unleashed and socialize. The event will also have a number of different dog-rescue groups, clubs and pet-related vendors with everything your pet might need.
For all of the pet parents, there will be live entertainment, food and beer.
If you're not a pet parent but would really like to be, there will be adoption opportunities at the event.
Dallas dog park rules do apply at the event which means you cannot bring more than three dogs, glass water bottles or your own treats for you or your dog.
At the event, you will also be able to take a photo with the famous Fair Park Woofus statute.
While the Dog Bowl is free, the event webpage suggests you bring a little extra cash for parking or take DART Rail Green Line to Fair Park.
The event is annual for the Cotton Bowl and has been going on for 15 years.
