Farmers markets have always been cool. You get to hang out, try different local goods and find things you didn't even know you could get in your city. Now there are markets dedicated to your furry friends as well.
The dog-friendly bar and dog park Mutts is having a market with all your dog's needs in mind on March 9. Mutts is located on 2889 Cityplace W Blvd in Dallas and the event will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The event will feature local vendors such as Woof Gang Bakery, Geaux Fideux and even Pet Supermarket. Vendors will bring handcrafted goods and treats you can purchase for your pets.
If you don't have a pet of your own but would really like to adopt a dog Garland animal services will also be there with plenty of cute on-site adoptable dogs.
During the event, the cantina at Mutts will be open so you will have a chance to grab a cocktail while you shop. There will also be treats at the cantina for your furry friend.
The event is open to the public, but if you happen to be part of the Mutts membership program, you can let your dog roam leash-free in the Mutts dog park. If you don't want a full membership but would like your pet to have access to the park, you can purchase a day pass for around $6.
Mutts does not allow outside food or drinks but they will have food at the bar. They also do not allow any outside pet toys but there will be plenty for your pets to play with.
Mutts has two locations one in Dallas and the other in Fort Worth. The bar originally opened in 2013 and since has hosted a variety of dog-friendly events.
