Dallas Is Hosting A Massive $2 Tacos Festival This Spring
An event in Dallas is having $2 tacos from over 20 taco places.
Dallas Farmers Market is hosting a big $2 tacos festival called Taco Libre Festival on April 27th. The taco celebration combines all the best tacos in the Dallas Fort Worth area with the excitement of Lucha Libre.
The Festival is $20 at the Dallas Famers Market and the best part is that there will be $2 tacos. 28 taco vendors from all over the metroplex have signed on to partake in the festival. Some of the vendors include Azucar Food Truck, La Botana Taco Bar and Rusty Taco.
Other vendors include:
- Casa Komali
- Taco Heads
- Tacos & Art
- Holy Frijole
- El Come Taco
During the event, visitors will also be able to enjoy live performances by Bidi Bidi Banda, Los Skarnales and Mariachi Sol Azteca. Bands will close out the festival after all the wrestling is done.
The festival starts at 3 p.m. If you're lucky enough to purchase the $70 VIP pass you get to enter the fest an hour early and enjoy accommodations such as shaded areas to watch the fights and VIP bars.
Every vendor has a $2 taco option but there will also be various different types ranging in price depending on the vendor. There will also be a vegetarian-friendly option for those who would like to attend the event.
One of the main talking points of this year's festival is the special guest taqueria coming all the way from Mexico City, Mexico. The Tacos will include traditional recipes as well as contemporary ones.
The festival invites everyone to take as many pictures as you can. You will have a chance to meet Lucha Libre wrestlers like Dr.Muerte, Fuego De Sol and Alejandra The Lion. The event is set to have four matches before letting the crowd enjoy the rest of the festivities.
