Rockwall Is Having Its First-Ever Pie Festival This Month
The first-ever Texas Pie Fest will be on March 30.
Attention all pie lovers! We have just the festival for you. Rockwall will be having its first-ever Texas Pie Fest on March 30 at Summerfield at Tate Farms.
The Festival will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. During the festival visitors will be able to enjoy a pie bake-off, an eating contest and pie throwing amongst other things. The price to enter these competitions range from $5 to $10.
There will be lots of different pie vendors including Royers Pie Haven, Emporium Pies and Sweet Lucy's Pies. The event is hosted by Bonafide Betties Pie Company who will also be severing pies that day. The pie shops are from all over the Dallas- Fort Worth area. They will each have a favorite featured pie.
Aside from all the pies, there are will also be appearances from Elm Street Tattoo who will be offering pie and Texas-themed tattoos for under $100. Vintage shops such as Wrecking Ball Collective and Alex & Afton Vintage who will make an appearance.
A car show take place at the event and all the cars will predate 1987.
This is the first pie festival in the area of this magnitude. The event is free for anyone who would like to join in the fun.
Summerfield at Tate Farms is around 600 acres so there will be plenty of room for everyone. The Farm is located on 12992 S. FM548.
The event is just a few weeks after national pie day but it is sure to satisfy your pie needs.
