The Whimsy World is a colorful, pop-up art exhibit in downtown Houston where guests can enjoy a variety of colorful backdrops, pop-out installations, and quirky sets. With the exhibit closing on Feb. 28th, you'll want to head over there fast to get your chance to visit the fantastic, colorful pop-up.
Shelbi Nicole is a Houston based artist who has had her art creations shared around the world. Her latest pop-up art exhibit, the Whimsy World, is one of Nicole's many creative projects that she has shared with the city of Houston. Her art can be seen across the city in her multitude of creative murals.
There is a variety of fun, vibrant sets for visitors to interact with, including giant inflatables, hanging lightbulbs, a cushy bathtub under a raincloud and a wall of pop out flamingoes! There are plenty of cutesy props that guests can play and pose with, so you can strut your stuff in the "rain" or dance with friends in a room full of pink puffballs.
Previous visitors of the interactive art display have had a blast and there are plenty of pictures to prove it. Wear bright, crazy clothes to match the scene or show off your fashion sense and sport a fun, trendy outfit among the exciting sets.
