If you're like us and love to eat all around town we have just the event for you. San Antonio's Tower Of The Americas will have its first annual Taste of the Tower festival on April 18 featuring tons of surf and turf options.
The event will be from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. and will be hosted at the base of the tower where you can walk through the park and find foods from local places. Some of the restaurants there will include Landry's Seafood House, Joe's Crab Shack, Morton's The Steakhouse and Rainforest Cafe. You will also be able to enjoy a selection of beer, wine and frozen cocktails. You can also vote for your favorite booth for a chance to win a special prize.
Aside from all the food, you will also be able to enjoy live music, games and at the end of the night, there will be a fireworks show in the parking lot of the tower.
The event will also feature a bounce house, face paint and a piñata.
Tickets for the event range from $25 to $55. Tickets for the event include two drink tickets.
You can also go for the VIP ticket which is $75. This ticket gives you access to a private cocktail area and better seating for the fireworks show.
The event site suggests you get to the event early seeing that their parking lot will be closed for the fireworks but they assure there will be additional parking across the street net to the federal building.
