As the last few weeks of November are wrapping up, the Christmas break seems more and more inviting. Whether you're wrapping up school for the semester, heading out on a vacation, or gearing up to celebrate the holiday season with your family, the month of December brings so much to look forward to! Apart from Christmas cheer, December is also bringing something special into your life and that's V Wars on Netflix Canada.

Ian Somerhalder, who played Damon Salvatore on The Vampire Diaries, is playing a similar role to the one that fans got to see for 8 seasons.

A while back, Netflix announced that one of its upcoming projects was a series called V Wars, about a doctor (played by Somerhalder) who finds himself pitted against his best friend after he and dozens of others are mysteriously turned into killer vampires.

Vampire shows and movies definitely aren't uncommon, and this series just so happens to be based on the comic books by Jonathan Maberry and Alan Robinson.

Netflix released the official trailer for the series this afternoon, and people are already eager to binge-watch it.

"NIKKI REED IS ON V WARS WITH IAN SOMERHALDER. THIS IS NOT A DRILL. GO WATCH THE TRAILER NOW. WE LOVE A GOOD HUSBAND AND WIFE NETFLIX DUO!!!!!!", one very excited user tweeted. "Well this looks good, been curious to see Ian Somerhalder’s next project and I’m definitely watching this," commented another.
