1. Corona Sunset Rooftop Series // Roof Garten

The stunning Roof Garten is hosting weekly house summer music nights. Check out DJ Meeks & Cuban Live Band this Sunday, July 31st at 9PM.Groove to deep house summer music on top of a cool rooftop with your friends.

2. Celebration of Light // English Bay

Fireworks are always a blast every summer. This Saturday, July 30th, grab your friends and head toEnglish Bay. At 10 pm, Walt Disney (representing the USA) will close the Celebration of Light fireworks series.

Camping usually requires booking ahead and fees, but we have found you a list of campsites you can stay at for free and without any reservation required. Time to plan that spontaneous camping trip!

4. Free Yoga Class // Lonsdale Quay

Yoga Thursdays is every Thursday from 6:30 PM until 7:30 PM in the main plaza at Lonsdale Quay. Bring your own mat and enjoy the sun and waterfront views.

5. Vancouver Street Dance Festival // Robson Square

Dance and music lovers, here is an annual free festival for you. There'll be dance battles, workshops, and guest performances. Check out the underground dance scene and see styles such as hip hop, breaking, waacking, popping, krumping, and more.

6. Pride Parade // Robson Street

Vancouver's pride parade is considered one of the largest Pride events in the world. Attracting a huge turnout every year, the Pride Parade will take place on Robson Street this Sunday July 31st from 12 - 3pm.

7. Free Drive In Movies // South Vancouver, Tsawwassen

Take a break from Netflix and Chill and go for a drive in movie. There are free drive in movie nights throughout the Lower Mainland this whole summer. This Saturday at 9pm, check out Grease at the River District Drive-In and on Sunday at 8pm, watch Back To The Future at the Tsawwassen Sun Festival's Drive-In Movie Night at Beach Grove Elementary.

8. Night Markets // Shipyards Night Market, International Summer Night Market

Admission to both the Shipyards, and the International Summer Night Market is free. The Shipyards is in North Vancouver on Friday nights from 5 to 10 until September 30th. It features great food, a beer garden, art, music, entertainment and shopping. The International Summer Night Market runs till September 11th on Friday, Saturdays, and Sundays from 7 pm.

9. Walking Tour

Get to learn more about your city and play tourist in your town. Go for a stroll around the city and discover different spots and history about Vancouver. You can check out The Tour Guys, who offer free and informative walking tours of Vancouver. Tours are offered in locations such as Gastown, Chinatown, and Granville Island. Tipping is recommended.
