Reflections Winter Patio at the Rosewood Hotel Georgia in downtown Vancouver will open this month on November 15th at 5 pm. There will be Christmas-themed cocktails as well as sweet treats.

Aurora Winter Festival

A North Pole-themed festival is coming to Vancouver for the first time ever this winter. Aurora Winter Festival will transform the Concord Pacific Place into a magical North Pole wonderland. There will be several fun winter activities, such as a 180-foot tube park for all ages, a 60 foot ferris wheel, and a Frozen River for ice skating. The festival runs from November 23rd to December 30th and you can buy tickets now.

The beautiful Sea to Sky Gondola is going to get even more magical for the holiday season and will look like you walked into a real-life snow globe. Festival of Lights at VanDusen Botanical Garden

Walk through a million lights that decorate a beautiful 15 acre botancial garden and try not to have a magical time. The Festival of Lights is returning to VanDusen Botanical Garden on December 1st and will run until January 6th. Tickets cost $18.50 online and $20 at the gate. You'll also be able to go for a ride on the carousel, which is included with your ticket.

Go sledding, tobogganing, or tubing at Mount Seymour

Bring some playfulness into your date. You can relive your childhood fun and slide down the slopes at Mount Seymour on a tube, sled or toboggan. Bright Nights in Stanley Park

If you want to see a free but spectacular light display, head over to Stanley Park for their annual Bright Nights holiday event. There will be three million sparkling lights, and could that sound any more magical? Entrance is by donation and proceeds benefit the BC Professional Fire Fighters' Burn Fund. There's also a Christmas train that you can ride for around $15.

Ice Skating at Robson Square

For a free and fun Christmas date, try ice skating at Robson Square. The skating rink is free to the public and is open long past Christmas is over, from December 1st, 2018 until February 28th, 2019. If you don't have your own skates, there are rentals available for $5 a pair.
