Jamjar

This authentic and homey Lebanese food restaurant first opened on Commercial Drive three years ago, and is set to open a second location on Granville early this year! Their hummus dip is a must try - their Hummus trio features one original flavour and two seasonal flavours. Jamjar believes in fresh and local cuisine and their food reflects that: all of it is fresh, free of preservatives, and sourced from local suppliers and growers.

Joe Pizza // Gastown

You can never have too much pizza and it's time to get excited, because a new pizza joint is coming. Joe Pizza will be open soon in Gastown. You can buy pizza by the slice, and judging by the pictures, it looks pretty mouthwatering. Plus, this new restaurant is from the crew behind Kitchen Table Restaurants, which includes Ask For Luigi, Pizzeria Farina, and Pourhouse - so we're pretty sure this pizza will be amazing.

St. Lawrence // 269 Powell St

From the co-owner of Ask For Luigi, Pourhouse, and Pizzeria Farina comes a highly anticipated new restaurant. Chef JC Poirier is opening St. Lawrence this year in Railtown, a restaurant with classic French inspired cuisine restaurant.

Rhinofish // 550 Main Street

If you love Taiwanese cuisine, a treat is coming for you in Chinatown. Rhinofish is a new Taiwanese noodle bar set to open this year.

Nemesis // 302 W Hastings St

Coffee lovers rejoice! A brand new cafe is coming to Vancouver. Nemesis Coffee is set to open soon in Gastown. Their goal is to have great chefs and baristas come together to "push the boundaries of coffee culture".
