7 Bars To Drink At If You Hate Going Into Downtown Vancouver
You're Friday night probably goes something like this: you get off work, run home and get ready quickly, make the trek out to downtown Vancouver, party all night, then take the dreaded night bus home or have your DD suffer from exhaustion the whole way back.

A UBC favourite, Bims is your good old "university bar" poppin' with students and locals all night, every night. Go on Tuesday for their $2 beer special, and students get in for free on Wednesdays.
3. Gabby's Country Cabaret // 20297 Fraser Hwy, Langley Twp
A little bit of country, a dash of Top 40's, mixed in with some live music, and you've got Gabby's. It's a pretty young crowd here but locals swear that you're bound to have a good time.
4. The Taphouse // 15330 102A St, Surrey
Previously known as Mirage, The Taphouse is Surrey's favourite place to party. Restaurant at 10AM, club by 10PM. Go on Thursday nights for super cheap food and $3 shots.
5. Roosters // 19040 Lougheed Hwy #4, Pitt Meadows
Bull riding? Yes please. Every Wednesday night is Rooster's legendary bull riding night. And the best part is, it's totally free. You don't ever have to make that trek out to The Bourbon ever again.
6. The Pit // 6133 University Blvd
Just because it's at a univeristy doesn't mean you have to be a student to have an awesome time. If you so happen to live near UBC, turn up at The Pit and relive your univeristy years.
