Meowfest is coming to Vancouver next year, and we couldn't be more excited. All you cat lovers will agree that few things are so cute as fluffy cats. Who wouldn't want to snuggle with a purring kitten? If you adore cats as much as we do, then you'll undoubtedly want to head to this cat festival in Vancouver.

The next Meowfest will take place on August 1, 2020, at the Sheraton Vancouver Airport Hotel.

At the one day event, there will be all sorts of cat-themed activities to enjoy plus a snack bar, celebrity cats and more.

Meowfest is hosted by Meowbox to help support not-for-profit animal organizations and feline shelters. So you can feel good, knowing 100% proceeds are donated to great causes.

A representative of Meowfest gave Narcity the inside scoop on what will be new in 2020 and next year there will be a cat-themed cocktail bar.

That's right; you'll be able to enjoy playful cat-themed drinks at their purrfect cocktail bar. We cant wait to see what type of creative cocktails they will mix up.

A cat festival wouldn't be complete without the option to play with cats. So at Meowfest, you'll be able to visit cuddle rooms where you can play with adoptable cats.

There will be a variety of adorable cats and kittens up for adoption all day. Who knows, maybe you'll leave with a new furry friend to bring home.

Last year the event had some big headliners like iAmMoshow best known for his cat rapping videos, and Nala Cat, who has 4.3 million followers on Instagram.

At the festival, you'll also be able to shop for your pets. There will be a ton of retailers selling all sorts of cat-related products.

Tickets for Meowfest 2020 will be for sale next year. For now, you can sign up at Meowfest for notification of the new headliners and when tickets are available for purchase.
