Plus, you'll get to check out Iceland, too!

Just hearing the word ‘London’ calls out to you to put on your best impression of the Queen and sip on English breakfast tea. If you’re planning a holiday with your friends or significant other next year, and you’re not quite sure where you want to go, we have you covered. Next year, there are cheap Vancouver to London tickets for less than $500 available right now. If that’s not the best deal you’ve seen all year, we don’t know what is. Thanks to the wonders of the internet, you have some incredible travel deals at the touch of your fingertips.

The elegance and style of London makes it one of the most exciting cities in the world to visit. Iconic landmarks like Big Ben, the London Eye, the Tower of London and of course the Palaces complete with stoic English guards wearing starchy red coats and the iconic furry Busby hats.

London has a long history and goes back even to Roman times. The city is a perfect blend of rich history and buzzing ‘big-city’ energy that will keep both the historian and the big-city gal in you entertained for hours. Plus, if you're a major Harry Potter fan, you have to go at some point in your life, right?

Icelandair has some incredibly cheap multi-city flights to London and Iceland from Vancouver for only $498 to $559 CAD roundtrip including taxes. That’s bloody brilliant! If you can't make it to London just yet, you can always pretend you're in Europe right here in Vancouver.

While you can only extend the stopover in Iceland for up to 3 days, it’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to travel to London, and also stop by Iceland on the way.

Here's how to get the deal

Use Google Flights and enable the "multi-city" option. Search for flights from Vancouver (YVR) to London (LON), London (LON) to Reykjavik (KEF), Reykjavik (KEF) to Vancouver (YVR).

You can open up the calendar to search for the cheapest flights.

I searched for flights from Wednesday, February 19, 2020 to Thursday, February 27, 2020 and found flights for just $499.

A vacation in London with an epic three-day stopover in the mysterious Nordic island nation of Iceland might be just the thing to get you through this winter and give you something to look forward to for 2020.

Google Flights will give you the option to book directly with Icelandair which could be even cheaper.

If travelling all the way to London is really not your thing, here's an incredible deal where you can rent an entire B.C. island for just $83 each with your friends.
