Glow-In-The Dark Paddle Boarding Parties In Vancouver Make Summer Magical

Get your glow on! In the summertime, all we want to do is spend as much time on the water as possible. All our free time is spent beachside and Vancouver is literally surrounded by water. But, did you know things get even better after dusk? You can do glow-in-the-dark paddle boarding and kayaking in Vancouver this summer, and it's magical.

You can join the Light The Night Tour with your friends that run on from July to August 2020. Vancouver Water Adventures told Narcity that you'll see how the "equipment comes to life, and streaks through the water with colourful light."

You'll get the choice of a kayak or stand up paddle board and will get to paint the water with glowing streaks. You won't believe your eyes because it is so enchanting.

Everywhere you look, you'll see bursts of colour like bright green, red and yellow. The scene will be so surreal; it will feel like you've entered a fantasy world.

Departing from Granville Island, you'll go on an unforgettable adventure that is about one and a half hours long. Following the guide, you'll undoubtedly see Vancouver in a new way as you follow the trail of glowing water under the twinkling stars.

Light The Night starts 30 minutes before sunset, so the start time depends on the time of year.

In early July it will be much later than later in August when the sun sets sooner.

For the exact start time, you'll need to check their website for updates.

When registering, you have three options. SUP paddle boards are $75+, single kayaks are $85+, or double kayaks are $105+.

We love the idea of booking the double kayak for a super romantic date. It without question would be a night the two of you wouldn't ever forget.

Just make sure to claim your spot as soon as possible, as Vancouver Water Adventures told us that they sell out nightly.
