When you're ordering in, your go-to is probably a box of Pad Thai or a burger. But did you know you can also get an entire afternoon tea spread to go? That's right; you can get high tea takeout in Vancouver so you can be fancy at home.
Neverland Tea Salon is trying to make Vancouver's quarantine experience "fancy and fun" with a new takeout option for their popular tea sets.
Then on Sunday, March 22, they will launch a brand new Spring High Tea Tower. Neverland tells Narcity that it'll include a mix of sweet and savoury bites and your choice of tea.
You'll get an incredible spread of dainty finger sandwiches, fit for a queen or king. Some of the flavours include Thai red curry egg salad, lemon-herb mascarpone with arugula, and hot capicola with roasted red peppers.
For those of you with a sweet-tooth, the selection of desserts will put a smile on your face. There are ginger molasses cookie sandwiches with a Mumbai chai chocolate ganache, matcha blueberry cheesecake, and a fruity mango raspberry tart.
Plus, you'll also get a citrus scone with Devonshire cream and house-made strawberry jam.
For only $30, you'll get a mountain of food that's sure to keep you full for a while.
For those of you with dietary restrictions, you can request a gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan meal.
Pickup is available at 3066 West Broadway, but they hope to launch delivery soon.
