Calling all fried chicken lovers! We have some exciting news for you. Soon you'll be able to eat fried chicken and biscuits Louisiana style because Popeyes Chicken is coming to British Columbia.

Popeyes Chicken was born in New Orleans, Louisiana forty years ago, a city that is famous for their fried chicken. Now, the franchise is bringing their Southern fried chicken taste up north to BC.
Port Coquitlam will be getting its own Popeyes Chicken soon! This will be the only location in all of the province. You'll be able to get your fried chicken and biscuits in the Fremont Village neighbourhood of Port Coquitlam. The popular franchise has over 2000 locations, but currently none in BC!
Popeyes Chicken is known for their fried chicken and biscuits, which they prepare Southern style. But that's not all they have to offer.
Aside from their Bonafide Chicken (which comes in either mild or spicy), they also have items such as chicken tenders, deep fried seafood and sandwiches. Their menu also features sides like poutine, mac and cheese, cajun fries, onion rings and more.
The opening dates are yet to be announced, so stay tuned. There are already locations in Canadian provinces like Alberta, Ontario and Saskatchewan, but very soon the flavours of Southern fried chicken will also be in BC.
