Is your favourite colour green? If so, then you need to check out this spot where you can enjoy all green everything. While you might be picturing a vegan spot that specializes in kale salads, it's actually an adorable matcha cafe in Vancouver.

Matcha Cafe Maiko is a Hawaii-based cafe that specializes in everything matcha. On the menu, you'll find all sorts of tasty treats that are bright green.

At the cafe, all their matcha comes from Uji, Japan, which is a region famous for its high-quality tea. Unlike the bitter, poor quality matcha you might have had in the past, this tea has a delicious sweet flavour.

Inside everything is made in-house. For those of you who love matcha, it is a wonderland of sweets you will want to try.

The menu changes with the seasons, so there is always something new to try. For example, in the summer, they sell super refreshing shaved ice, which is the perfect way to beat the heat.

If you are looking for a cute date idea this month, we suggest you head here with your date. For a limited time, they currently have a Christmas tree soft-serve ice cream and it's too cute to pass up.

The Christmas tree soft serve is available either in a twist of matcha and Hojicha tea or just matcha.

To make your dessert extra festive it is decorated with colourful candy sprinkles and a star butter cookie.

Another one of their eye-catching ice creams is their gold leaf-covered soft-serve. That is right; you'll be able to eat gold!

The matcha cafe also sells loaded parfaits, with pieces of matcha cake, mochi and chesnuts.

Two other not to miss items are the melon pan ice cream sandwiches or mini buns filled with tasty matcha cream.

To drink, they offer icy frappes, lattes, and an assortment of teas too.

It's the perfect spot to come in the middle of a dark, grey and gloomy winter to get a blast of fresh green colour.
