Vancouver Is Getting A Brand New VR Playground & It's Like Being In "The Matrix"

Epic virtual reality experiences have been exploding in Canada over the past few years. If you haven't tried one already, you'll be surprised how well they can make you feel part of the game. This new spot to play VR in Vancouver will be the first of its kind in Western Canada and it's like being inside the matrix.
In Canada, we now have everything from escape rooms to lounges where you can play VR. But the latest gamer playground, Zero Latency in Vancouver needs to be added to your bucket list ASAP.
Their brand new space will open at the Kingsgate Mall on Thursday, February 27, 2020.
Unlike regular VR gaming experiences, you won't have to worry about tripping on wires or running out of rope on your headset. The massive 1,500 square-foot building will allow you to play cord-free.
At the launch, there will be three different games you can play together with up to eight people. You'll get together work with seven of your friends to fight robots, zombies and other challenges.
Once in the game, you can pretty much do anything and can move just like you would in real life. You'll seriously be impressed by how immersive the experience is when you try it out.
The virtual arcade can be enjoyed by everyone, even if you aren't a gamer.
Winston Cabell, Experience Master at Zero Latency VR Vancouver said in a press release that they "love the marriage of epic video gaming experiences and the physical activity,"
"We think gamers at every level and ability – and even non-gamers -- will feel the same way," he said.
Right now, Zero Latency has 40 locations on five continents, including Tokyo, London, and Las Vegas.
Two of these locations are in Canada already in both Toronto and Montreal.
