Playland Is Back Next Month With All New Rides And Carnival Fun

Who's ready for summer? Carnivals are always a summer staple — the days of rollercoasters, cotton candy, ferris wheels and prized games are almost upon us. Whether it's for a fun day with your crew or a cute date with your S/O, a carnival or amusement park will satisfy.

Relive the childhood fun of amusement parks at Playland at the PNE, which will reopen for the season on May 5th. Not only will you get to ride your favourite attractions (hello, wooden rollercoaster), but there will be three brand new rides this summer season that are all family friendly. In other words, you'll have fun even if you're scared to death of roller coasters.

Playland offers over 35 rides and attractions for you to choose from. And during The Fair at the PNE, which typically takes place mid-August to the beginning of September, there will be even more rides to experience – over 50!

Aside from rides like the rollercoasters, Hellevator, Crazy Beach Party and more, admission to Playland also includes mini-golf, a climbing wall and more. There are also the classic carnival games so why not win an obnoxiously big stuffed animal for your S/O?

You can also chow down on classic carnival fare, like cotton candy, mini donuts and popcorn.

One-Day admission costs $34 dollars online or $37 at the gate. You can also purchase a Season Pass for carnival fun all summer long. You can buy a pass online or at retailers for $94 or at the gate for $99.

Playland will be open from May 6 to September 6 for the 2018 summer season. For tickets or more information, please check out their website.
