You'll be able to watch Mean Girls at this pop-up Vancouver drive-in this summer.
A drive-in movie club series will be happening in Vancouver from Thursday, July 23 to Sunday, July 26, 2020. The lineup is so good you'll want to go every night as they will be playing Back To The Future, Deadpool, Dirty Dancing, and Mean Girls.
All Mean Girls fans can ready for some major nostalgia as you watch Regina George, Aaron Samuels and all your other favourite characters on the big screen.
For the event, a secret location will be transformed into a drive-in theatre. Right now, the venue hasn't been revealed. But ticket holders will get the details in an email in the next few weeks.
You'll be able to enjoy the film from within your vehicle. But unlike a regular drive-in, things will be a little bit extra.
You won't need to leave your car to get a jumbo bag of buttery popcorn or your favourite bubbly drink. Instead, you can get a mouthwatering spread of a candy bar, a bag of buttery popcorn, and soda brought to your car.
It couldn't be easier; when you buy your ticket, you can opt to pay an extra $20 for the sweet and salty snacks.
So get ready to wear pink from head to toe, and get your tickets as there is only a limited quantity available. It is $35 per car of up to five people, plus an additional $3 per person.
Each night the screening will begin at 9:00 p.m. Gates will open at least 45 minutes ahead of time, and parking spots are first-come, first-serve.
It would be a good idea to arrive before 8:30 p.m. to claim one of the better spots near the front.After all, it's not summer if you don't spend it out late watching movies under the stars.
