The city's favourite hidden tiki bar is back in all its tropical glory. The Shameful Tiki Room in Vancouver has reopened as B.C. lifts restrictions, but there have been some changes. That hasn't stopped locals from making their reservations, however, and who can blame them because we could all use a mai tai by now.

The bar announced over Instagram on Wednesday, May 20 that people can start booking seats again.

However, they told Narcity that the experience has changed. They're scaling the menu back a little, and their signature shared bowls won't be available for the time being. All their cups are single-use and disposable, they wrote, and they're only taking parties of five to six people.

But despite the smaller menu selection, they're still getting tons of reservations, according to the comments on their Instagram.

"We have also taken this time to make upgrades and generally spiff up the place," they wrote to Narcity.

With furniture and decor straight out of Hawaii, this bar is probably one of the most haunted-looking places (in a good way) that I've seen — not including the Old Spaghetti Factory, of course.

The entrance is entirely blacked out, and as you enter, you'll immediately find yourself swallowed in palm trees, plants, lanterns, and more. Sitting down, you'll feel like you're in a gorgeous thatch-roofed hut in Hawaii.

They've got plenty of options to sip from. Just sip it slow because their drinks tend to lean on the strong side.

We definitely recommend the "pain killer," built on coconut milk, juice, and of course, plenty of rum. The "zombie" is also fantastic, with three different rums and a secret blend of spices.

For those looking for a bite to eat, they've got plenty of chow too. From Hawaiian-style ribs to tropical nachos, they've got all you need for the full Polynesian experience.

Just be sure to book in advance — there's "extremely limited" walk-in seating is only available if they have extra capacity, reads their Facebook post.

There's pirate-vibes and so much rum and here it could make Jack Sparrow jealous.

If you've been craving the tropics and colourful cocktails this summer, this is the place for you to meet up with your friends.
