Animal-lovers have a good reason to be excited about Spring and I'm not talking about all the new baby goats and lambs being born! The Vegan Night Market is coming to The Waldorf again for an epic night of vegan vibes. This upcoming market will be the third vegan night market in Vancouver and its gaining popularity fast.
It's no wonder since each Vegan Market has a fun and chill atmosphere with drinks, music, shopping and delicious vegan food. You can even get a chance to win free meals from Vancouver's best vegan restaurants! Be a friend to the animals and fill up on vegan food truck offering and local cruelty-free goods.
Blue Heron Creamery will be there and it's a great opportunity to get and try their stuff. They have delicious and shockingly affordable vegan cheeses that will make you want to host a vegan wine and cheese night ASAP. There will also be vendors that focus on zero-waste living so it's perfect if you like shopping consciously for the environment.
Since it's the Year of the Pig this new Lunar Year, all of the money raised will support Hearts on Noses Sanctuary. They rescue potbellied and full-sized pigs who became unwanted pets or destined for food and give them a loving, caring forever home out in Mission.
The Vegan Night Market is happening on Thursday, March 14 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at The Waldorf and it's organized by PEACES and The Vegan Project. Admission is by donation with a minimum of $2 which always goes to a charity. You can also bring canned goods, clothing or pet food as a donation.
