There’s Going To Be A Massive Star Wars Event Happening In Vancouver Next Month

Are you a closet Star Wars fan? Or do you wear it loud and proud and embrace the force?

Well, either way May 4th (aka Star Wars Day) is fast approaching, and we've got the perfect place for you to get dressed in your best Jedi outfit and party it out with your fellow Star Wars fans.

Vancouver's H.R. MacMillan Space Centre will be hosting their first Family Night of 2018 and celebrating all things related to the franchise, where guests can come dressed as their favourite Rebel or Empire character, prove their knowledge in rounds of trivia, visit distant worlds beyond their imagination, and even make their own lightsaber!

Vancouver's 501st Legion Outer Rim Garrison will also be stopping by to hang out and take pictures. With a whole night of activities planned, we can't think of a better way to spend the evening with family or friends - or even date night (if the night is clear, take a look at the stars through the observatory's telescope)!

The event is for ages 7 and above, and tickets are available from Eventbrite, at $15 for those 18 years and under, and $20 for adults.
