This Famous Japanese Fluffy Cheesecake Chain Is Opening A Store In Vancouver Next Month

Are you a dessert lover but find regular cheesecake too heavy, too sweet, or too dense? Luckily, there’s a lighter, fluffier, more delicious alternative coming right here to Vancouver.

This global dessert chain is famous for their signature cheesecake - and according to their team, has been highly requested in the BC area for many years.

Uncle Tetsu’s Japanese Cheesecake is gearing up to open its first Metro Vancouver location in Metropolis at Metrotown (4700 Kingsway) in the first week of May (the exact date is yet to be announced, but yes, two weeks away)!

If you haven’t seen the signature Japanese cheesecake on social media - their cloud-like cheesecakes have gone viral several times over the past few years, it has been described as a hybrid of a New York-style cheesecake and a soufflé that melts in your mouth upon first bite.

It has been confirmed that besides the main product, guests can also buy honey madeleines and Uncle Tetsu’s rusk (similar to a cheese biscotti) at its new storefront.

Uncle Tetsu’s has been making its fan favourite products for over 25 years, expanding to various countries around the world including China, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Canada, and Australia.
