This Free Night Market In North Vancouver Reopens Next Month

Summer is almost upon us, and you know what that means. Vancouver’s many night markets are set to reopen, and with the festivities bring a perfect way to spend a summer night with family and friends!
For those living Downtown or in North Vancouver, it can be a bit of a trek to go down to the renowned Richmond Night Market. However, have no worries because this year’s Shipyards Night Market will be reopening once again every Friday night from 5 PM all summer long, from May 4 till September 28!
Head over to Shipbuilders’ Square in North Vancouver for great food, art, and locally made products - as well as live music and entertainment until 10 PM, showcasing talent from all over BC.
The Shipyards Night Market has grown to be a very successful and busy event, with over 100 vendors selling fresh food and products.
Don’t eat dinner before you attend the market because there are over 30 food trucks in attendance selling unique and delicious food - including desserts such as kettle corn, gelato, crepes, baked goods, and handmade sweets. Our mouths are watering thinking about it!
The Night Market also includes a beer garden serving local craft beer and cider as well as Betty’s Vodka Iced Tea. You must be over 19 years of age to enter the beer garden, however the entire Night Market is all ages - family friendly, and dog-friendly!
The Shipyards are located east of the Seabus and the Lonsdale Quay at the foot of Lonsdale Avenue in North Vancouver. There is street parking available in the vicinity, and also free parking in ICBC Parkade after 6 PM on Fridays (adjacent to the Lonsdale Quay Market).
