This Kick Ass New Taco Shop In Vancouver Will Teleport You To Mexico

As December approaches, Vancouver is getting colder and colder. But there's one place in the city that isn't. If you've ever wanted to escape the rainy, slushy, and snowy winter weather here but never got the chance, you can now head on over to this new hot spot in the city to warm you up this winter.

Newly opened in downtown, on the corner of Nelson and Granville, is the vibrant and kick ass taco shop La Cantina. If you've ever been to Whistler (which, of course you have), then you're probably quite familiar with the name. Yes! Whistler's favourite taco joint has finally opened a second location in Vancouver and we couldn't be more excited.

I mean first of all, please take a look at this sick space!

La Cantina's new downtown location is vibrant, colourful and bursting with flare and attitude. With lucha libre characters that deck the walls and multi-colour lamps hung from the ceiling, this taco joint will most likely become your new Friday night haunt. 

Not only is the interior totally awesome, so is the food. Vancouver's La Cantina will be offering all your favourite menu items from the Whistler location, such as their meat and vegetarian tacos, burritos and soups... and of course their drinks in mason jars.

You no longer have to drive all the way to Whistler to get your favourite tacos. Just head on over to 722 Nelson St to visit the new La Cantina to get your fix. La Cantina is open Sunday to Thursday 11AM to 9PM, and Friday to Saturday 11AM to 11PM.
