British Columbia is a treasure trove of secret places and hidden gems. All across the province are magnificent glaciers, sprawling meadows and vineyards, breathtaking mountains and vast oceans, there isn't a single space that God forgot to bless in this place. And we're here to show them to you.

This map will take you on the most epic journey you will ever experience in BC. From glacial kayaking to waterfall cliff diving, enchanted forests to magical treehouses, you'll never guess what BC has in store for you.

Here is a link to the map! The beginning of the map starts in Abbostford, loops up to Bella Cool and down back near Hope. Of course there are certainly plenty of incredible places to see in Northern BC as well, but we don't wanna tire you out with too much driving 😉.

1. Cascade Range Glacial Lakes // Cascade Ranges

Glacial lake kayaking? Only in the beautiful British Columbia. Compass Heli Tours offers incredible helicopter tours of the astounding Cascade Mountains where you can even kayak in the secret glacial lakes. Their helicopter base is in Abbotsford and will take you round trip.

2. Rainforest Trail // Ucluelet

A two kilometre boardwalk trail that takes you through the ancient forests of Pacific Rim National Park that is loved by beginner and advanced hikers. The trail is separated into two loops and is pet-friendly. Get lost in the wilderness on the Rainforest Trail.

3. Nymph Falls // Courtenay

Nymph Falls is arguably one of the most beautiful places in Vancouver Island, nay, BC. There are tons of lushes green trails to walk through, and the highlight, the Nymph Falls natural rock pools that are at the base of the waterfall. Go for a hike, and then soak away in the refreshing water.

4. Free Spirit Spheres // Qualicum Beach

If you don't already know about the Free Spirit Spheres by now, you've been missing out. As quiet and secluded as this location may be, it has definitely gained popularity and is a favourite travel destination for locals looking for a peaceful retreat. These spherical treehouses are suspended from trees with whimsical staircases that lead up to them and large skylights that bring in natural sunlight. Looking for a calming place to get way from it all, this is the spot.

5. Hunlen Falls // Bella Coola

Imagine standing on the edge of a 260 meter high waterfall that drops straight down into its base. Hunlen Falls, located just south of Tweedsmuir Provincial Park, is Canada's 3rd highest waterfall and it truly is a magnificent sight to see that will leave you in awe.

6. Wells Gray Provincial Park // Clearwater

Honestly, one image hardly does this gem justice. Home to the magnificent Helmcken Falls, the pristine Murtle Lake and surreal views of glaciers, Wells Gray Provincial Park is the most breathtaking 5000km² of nature you will ever experience in Canada.

7. The Enchanted Forest // Revelstoke

Hidden along the Trans-Canada Highway between Revelstoke and Sicamus is BC's highest treehouse, the magical Enchanted Forest treehouse. There are also tons of lush green forests to discover, as well as lodges, beaver dams, and natural floating gardens. If this isn't enchanted, I don't know what is.

8. Silver Spring Lake // Elko

Looking for an adrenaline rush after walking through an enchanted forest, cliff jumping at Silver Spring Lake will hit the spot. This pristine lake with its glistening turquoise water is the perfect place for a refreshing dip and/or dive. A favourite of locals and tourists alike, we couldn't leave this one out of the map.

9. Alexandra Bridge Provincial Park // Yale

The Alexandra Bridge located in Alexandra Bridge Provincial Park is a gem that's lasted through history. Taking a stroll on this bridge is like talking a walk back in time and getting to experience a little bit of BC's gold rush era. It was once part of Caribou Wagon Road and is now a fascinating sigh to see.
