Our favourite Netflix romantic comedy series is coming back for a second time around. To All the Boys I've Loved Before 1 and 2 were both filmed in Vancouver, Canada. The films feature several Canadian actors including Anna Cathcart, who plays Lara Jean's little sister, Kitty. In an exclusive interview with Narcity, Anna Cathcart told us all about her favourite spots in the city. Cathcart told us what it was like to film in her hometown and which local landmarks you'll see pop up in the upcoming film.
The 16-year-old actress also gave us the scoop on what we can expect in the third installment of the To All the Boys I've Loved Before series. Yep, a third movie wrapped up last year and not only is the location set in Vancouver but also in two new surprising cities.

Queen Elizabeth Park
During the movie, Lara Jean surprises Peter by taking him to a magical lantern lighting festival in a massive park. Talk about an adorable way to end a date. Locals will recognize this romantic spot as Vancouver's Queen Elizabeth Park.
Sea To Sky Highway
There's a clear shot in the movie where you can see B.C.'s famous Sea to Sky Highway. The entire sequel showcases outdoor shots highlighting the beautiful parts of British Columbia.
If you want to embrace the movie's Pacific North West vibes, take a drive up the coast to Squamish.
Vancouver Aquarium
You won't be surprised to find out that the Portland Aquarium in TATBILB 2 is actually the Vancouver Aquarium. Lara Jean's class takes a school field trip to their local aquarium and it makes for a really romantic setting.
Cathcart told Narcity that the cast went to the Vancouver Aquarium after hours to film this scene so they could have the entire place to themselves. They ended up shooting alone in the aquarium until 2 a.m. in the morning!
Brix & Mortar
Cardano's restaurant is an uber-romantic restaurant where Peter takes Lara Jean for their first-ever official date. This spot might look familiar to Vancouverites because it's a local treasure. Cardano's is actually Brix & Mortar, a fancy restaurant located in the heart of Yaletown.
Next time your boyfriend wants to take you out, be sure to make a reservation at Brix.
Fort Langley
In the first and second movies, a large part of filming took place in Fort Langley according to Cathcart. The quaint city was the perfect backdrop for Lara Jean and Kitty's childhood home.
Not only that but if you've seen the sequel, the infamous treehouse and the home they go to visit for Korean New Year are also both shot in Fort Langley.
Cathcart told Narcity about a secret filming tip; the house that the family visits for Korean New Year is actually the same spot where Lara Jean and John Ambrose's treehouse is located. They're both on the same property!

Point Grey Secondary School
The high school that Lara Jean and Peter's attend is well known in Vancouver. It's actually Point Grey Secondary located in Kerrisdale.
If you want to take a run around the track field, kiss your significant other in the middle of the field or reenact the scene where Peter tells Lara Jean he got her letter, you can!
Playland
While the movie didn't film this adorable amusement park scene in Vancouver, there's definitely a local spot that's very similar. You can get all of the movie vibes if you check out Playland in Hastings Park.
