Vancouver Canucks Captain Bo Horvat Is Spending A Lot Of Time Goofing With His Dog (PHOTOS)

The NHL is on hiatus during the COVID-19 pandemic and players are staying at home as much as possible. In Vancouver, Canucks captain Bo Horvat is spending way more time at home than he usually would and that means his dog, Gus, is getting a lot of attention. Now that his dad is always home, the dog's Instagram is getting a ton more Horvat content and it's hilarious.

Known on Instagram as @gus.frenchie_, the french bulldog has been posting stories lately that often feature his famous dad.

The latest adventure the two of them had was testing out a Baby Bjorn carrier together and the photos are too cute not to share.

Bo and his wife Holly are expecting a baby together soon. The new addition to their family will arrive in mid-July, according to their Instagram post.

Preparing for a baby is a big job and it looks like all the extra time on the captain's hands is being put to good use.

Seeing Gus riding in the front is so ridiculously funny that it almost seems like Bo needs to get back on the ice ASAP and leave his dog be.

The pair seem like they have been closer than ever lately. The captain recently shared a message on the Canucks twitter about the NHL hiatus being bigger than hockey with Gus in his lap the whole time.

"I think I'll work for practicing," said the IG story post from the dog's perspective.

They also added the "Stay Home" sticker to the post that encourages people to stay in and use social distancing.

From the side, it looks even more ridiculous. "Getting dad ready for all of this..." the post reads. It looks like the practice run for the baby carrier went smoothly and Gus doesn't really even look bothered.

Horvat isn't the only Canucks player goofing around at home while off the ice. Elias Pettersson showed off his golf trick shots on Instagram proving that cabin fever can be fun.
