Market season isn’t over, Vancouver. If you love markets and you love animals, you are in luck. Vancouver’s Vegan Night Market is coming back to The Waldorf on Thursday, Sept. 12 for an unforgettable and cruelty-free evening.
This Vegan Night Market is just the latest by The Vegan Project and Peaces.ca. So far, the events have been total hits, offering a lively and unique environment to shop, eat, listen to music, and more. This special market marks the VNM’s one year anniversary, and we’re ready to celebrate.
The Vegan Night Market runs from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Sept. 12 and admission is just a minimum donation of $2. Donation proceeds will go to various causes including Little Oink Bank Pig Sanctuary and WISH Drop-In Center Society.
The market has both indoor and outdoor areas, both of which feature live music. The event is 19 plus inside and all-ages outside, so everyone is welcome. You can dine on vegan cuisine from food trucks and sip specially crafted drinks.
As for shopping, you’ll find all types of vendors including apparel, bath and body, jewellery, household, and more. There will also be Animal NPOs in attendance if you’re looking to support the cause in a bigger way. No matter what, just showing up is showing your support for animals and plant-based living.
Some of the cruelty-free and simply wonderful products you can expect to see at the market include White Rhino Bags. This line of vegan leather bags and accessories will perfectly complement any fall outfit this autumn in Vancouver.
You’ll also be able to shop the creations of local Vancouver artisan, Leftover Hippies Incense. She creates all-natural, handmade incense with scents you’ll want in your home ASAP.
Shopping cruelty-free goods while to live djs, sipping drinks and munching on vegan snacks sounds like the ideal way to spend an early-fall evening. Clear your schedule, you've got some vegan business to attend to.
