You Can Watch Home Alone With Live Music Vancouver This Week & It's So Nostalgic

A new way to watch the classic.
Vancouver's Home Alone In Concert Is The Perfect Last-Minute Holiday Adventure This Week

It's crazy to think that Christmas is just days away. If you haven't treated yourself to a dose of holiday magic yet this month, then Vancouver's Home Alone in concert could be just the thing. Watching a movie that so many millenials remember from when they were a kid is the perfect way to get into the mood for the Christmas season.

For anyone born in the '90s, this movie would have been playing on repeat on cable television during the holidays.

Seeing it now, it's so nostalgic and gives you double the warm fuzzy feelings you'd expect this time of year.

Home Alone is so popular even after thirty years that it's getting a reboot in the near future. That's even though the movie's plot might not work in the age of smartphones.

They're even going to film the reboot in Montreal. Canadian fans of the slapstick classic will have even more reason to watch.

Even just seeing the original VHS cover of Macaulay Culkin as a kid making that surprised face makes you think of Christmas.

Vancouver fans can catch the holiday classic on the big screen and with a live performance from the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra.

They'll be who will be giving the original score by John Williams a whole new depth for two nights on Wednesday, December 18 and on Friday, December 20.

Watching a movie with a live-score gives it an entirely new feel and it's a fun way to get off of your couch and still indulge in your favourite hobby: watching movies.

The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra is always up to something fun. They even did a Polar Express show with live music last month.

If you ever wondered what you would do if you were 8-year-old Kevin McCallister, then you need to get your hands on tickets to this show before you miss it.
