Attention All Donut Lovers: Cartems Has Launched A Travelling Donut Truck In Vancouver
If you live in Vancouver and you love donuts then you're probably already a fan of Cartems Donuts. Their delectable treats are a bit of a local's right-of-passage. Cartems has three locations around the city and has just launched its newest mobile location, the Cartems food truck.
The beautiful, bright red food truck made its debut this weekend at the Tsawwassen Mills shopping centre.
Cartems donuts are made fresh every day and their menu features flavours like Earl Grey, Honey Parmesan, Salted Caramel, London Fog, and more. You have to get there early because their top flavours often sell out by the end of the day.
They also offer vegan and GF options for anyone with dietary restrictions. We’re obsessed with their donuts, and we’re beyond excited about this new mobile location which will allow even more Vancouverites to enjoy them.
The Cartems food truck is cooking up fresh donuts right in the truck, so you can expect nothing less than the melt-in-your-mouth freshness you’d get at any of their brick and mortar locations.
This Friday, the Cartems food truck will be setting up shop at the SFU First Friday Carnival so new students can get a taste of what Vancouver’s all about.
Narcity spoke with a rep for Cartems, to learn more about where we can track down our new favourite motor vehicle.
The rep explained that the Cartems food truck doesn’t yet have a roaming license, so they’ll be spotted parked mainly at events for the time being. Though, they said the licensing needed to be on the move is in the works for the donut-mobile. “We’re hoping to have it be more of a full-time thing,” they told us.
“We are excited to be able to offer our donuts to spread our donuts further around the lower mainland,” the spokesperson told us, and we share that excitement.
