Dash cams are a great help to people like the police, it allows them to see the crime as it happened without getting a bunch of mixed up statements from witnesses.

Well, a dash cam in Vancouver recently caught an absolutely horrible crime on video.

A man was intentionally pushed into traffic by someone and hit by the car with the dash-cam catching the whole thing.

Police say that on July 15th a pair of men stopped to check on a woman who they thought was severely intoxicated.

A man, who police believe was the woman’s friend, became extremely agitated with the pair and pushed one of them into the road.

The man pushed was then struck by a sports utility vehicle.

The driver pulled over and remained at the scene as others tried to restrain the suspect for police to arrest him.

Both the man and the woman managed to get away and run off before the police could arrest them though.

You can see the video of the incident below, don’t worry the video cuts off just before the man is struck by the car so you won’t need to see that part.

Police are searching for the suspect who is described as being in his mid-20s, about 6 feet tall, with a heavy, athletic build.

They also released this drawing of the suspect.

The woman he was with at the time is described as asian, 20 to 25 years old, with a slim build, medium length black hair and she was wearing a white tank top or a sun dress.

The 37-year-old man from Surrey who was pushed is still recovering from his injuries.
