You Can Float Down This 7KM Lazy River In BC This Summer

It's hard to be stressed out when all you gotta do is float!

Chilling on the beach is all well and good, but hanging out in a tube while floating down a lazy river is much better. There's a beautiful spot in the Okanagan Valley where British Columbians have been taking advantage of the Penticton River Channel to have the most fun and chill summer experience ever!

You can rent or bring your own floaty and rent one from Coyote Cruises at the launching point of the channel. They have everything you need so that all you have to do is kick back and float away. Imagine sipping iced tea and splashing cool, crystal clear water on your face as you float down the channel toasting in the warm sun! Can't wait for summer? Start making your bucket list ASAP.

The Okanagan is one of the best summer getaways near Vancouver. A float down the channel is the perfect antidote to a hot and dry day! Plus, you'll finally have a reason to buy that ridiculous unicorn, swan or flamingo floaty that you've always wanted.

Check out Coyote Cruises for more information on where to launch your floaty and how to book your pick up at the end of the river. A bus ride and tube rental are $12 per person and just the bus ride is $6. Penticton is about a 4.5-hour drive from Vancouver, so it makes sense to spend a night or two up there to enjoy all that the Okanagan has to offer including this amazing 7km lazy river float.
