In our opinion, Vancouver Island harbours some of the most beautiful natural landmarks in the west.

Little Qualicum Falls Provincial Park is one of those places you must visit at least once, with beautiful waterfalls cascading down a rocky gorge inside a beautiful forest. Straddling the Little Qualicum River, it incorporates the entire southern shore of Cameron Lake, and is one of the most beautiful parks on central Vancouver Island.

Be sure to grab your camera, slap on some sunscreen, and spend the day walking around and exploring the park - on a sunny day the waterfalls turn a brilliant shade of turquoise!

There is plenty to do in the park, with a number of walking trails available in and around the park which offer great views of the river and waterfalls - there is a whole 6 km worth of walking trails!

Whilst the main attraction - the breathtaking waterfalls, cannot be swum in, the park does have swimming holes that are safe to swim in.

The falls, lake swimming, shaded riverside trails and picnic facilities make Little Qualicum Falls a very popular recreation destination.
