Canadian Officer Caught Screaming "I'm Going To Kill You" At Restrained Suspect In Horrifying Video

A video has surfaced on social media and it has many people outraged. The video of a Pelican Narrows RCMP arresting and pointing a gun at a suspect while threatening to kill him has lead to an internal investigation. The incident took place in northern Saskatchewan.

The footage was posted on June 30. Since then, the officer has been reassigned and relocated, while the RCMP investigating three arrests made by him on the same day, CBC News reports. One of them is the intense Pelican Narrows arrest that was captured in the video. 

The video, which was shared on Facebook, is only 10-seconds long, but it showed enough to spark public concern. In the video, you can see a suspect on his knees as one officer points his gun at him. Another officer is seen handcuffing and then holding the suspect's arms. 

In the video, you can hear the officer say, “I’m going to f**king kill you". Later on he adds, “Shut the f**k up. You’re under arrest".

The RCMP has responded to the incident in a news release posted this past weekend. "A video was posted on social media on the morning of Jun 30 from Pelican Narrows showing the arrest of a suspect by RCMP officers at approximately 4:00 am on Jun 30, 2019," reads the release.

"The video is approximately 10 seconds long, some of the audio on the video is from one of the police officers making the arrest and the audio is concerning. The video does not capture the entire interaction between the suspect and the officers. The circumstances of the arrest, both before and after and the language used, is now under review."

The Federation of Sovereign Indigenous Nations has spoken up and addressed the incident on their Facebook. They ask that the officer be removed from his duties immediately. 

RCMP has stated that they are in contact with community leaders.
