Victoria is already a plant-based paradise with a ton of vegan spots around the city. It's about to get even more delicious and could soon become the vegan mecca of B.C. with the addition of a new Virtuous Pie in Victoria. This pizza shop has a cult following already in cities like Vancouver and Toronto and now Victoria will get to try all the sinfully delicious pies.

If you're a newly minted vegan who's craving delicious pizza and you're not satisfied with those frozen cardboard-tasting substitutes you get at the grocery store then this new pizza shop is going to be your new favourite place.

Their Stranger Wings pizza with spicy buffalo cauliflower and vegan cheese is one of their most popular flavours.

Carb-lovers can indulge in their Mac & Cheeza pizza smothered in house-made mac and cheese with vegan cheddar cream, cashew mozzarella and feta.

This new location is actually going to be their largest yet with 61 seats. There's also going to be a bar that no other location has.

The communal bar will have a ton of drinks plus their own cocktail menu with their own twist on the "shaft" cocktail that was originally created in Victoria.

Each location has its own unique vibe but they all a have bright and stylish look and a focus on delicious, creative and sustainable food.

Anyone going to the Island from the mainland will want to drop by because this new location will have an outdoor patio opening in Spring 2020.

Put this place on your Victoria bucket list if you love good food.

Virtuous Pie already has locations in Vancouver, Toronto and even in Portland, WA.

This is the first time the restaurant will be coming to Victoria and it will bring the count in B.C. up to three locations total with two already in Vancouver.
