Win A Trip To The Bahamas: Airbnb Wants Canadians For A Crazy Adventure This Spring

Airbnb is looking for five participants to live like a Bahamian for two months and you could win a trip to The Bahamas this spring. Most of us dream about vacationing in the Carribean, a year-round paradise known for its white sandy beaches and clear turquoise water. But let's face it, these trips aren't cheap. But now you have your chance to enjoy the ultimate beach getaway — for free!

The once-in-a-lifetime adventure would have you living in a tropical paradise for two months. From April 1 to May 31, 2020, you would get the chance to help with rebuilding efforts in the wake of Hurricane Dorian.

Chris Lehane, Senior Vice President of Global Policy and Communications at Airbnb, said in a press statement, "it's a privilege to work together with the Bahamas National Trust to support and shine a spotlight on a nation whose economies are benefited by tourism."

Over April and May, the lucky Airbnb contest winners will visit three island destinations, Andros, Exumas, and Eleuthera.

It will be an unforgettable experience where you will help to restore the coral reefs in Andros.

Working with conservationist and underwater photographer Katie Storr, you'll help to promote new growth in the third-largest reef system in the world.

Next, you would get to learn from freediver André Musgrove in the country's first-ever national park.

Here you'll enjoy the crystal clear water and work to help reef creatures thrive by curbing the red lionfish population.

In the remaining time, you'll visit the island of Eleuthera, which is famous for its breathtaking pink sand beaches.

Together with a master gardener, you'll propagate native trees and create a bush tea farm.
