You Can Go On A Magical Illuminated 1.5 KM Walk On The Beach At Night Near Ontario
If you love all things related to the night sky, magic and shooting stars—then there's one place near Ontario you can't miss this summer. You can go on a pilgrimage to Nova Lumina in Chandler, Quebec to make this summer your most magical yet! This seaside walk is full of magical light installations and it all takes place under a canopy of real and imagined stars!
This illuminated walk takes you through the forest and along the beach, following the mystery of how stars are falling from the sky and washing ashore, filling the beaches with light. With your pilgrimage staff in hand, you'll carry the light of a fallen star on your journey to return it to the night sky. This staff is almost exactly like Gandalf's in The Lord of the Rings when they're going through the dark Mines of Moria.
This incredible immersive light and media experience is created by Moment Factory. They also created a forest experience in BC Called Vallea Lumina, one in Quebec called Foresta Lumina and they even transformed a Zoo near Ontario into a magical adventure!
Nova Lumina is happening this Summer and will likely start in June. Admission is $18 per person plus taxes and fees. Check out their website for updates and details as they come out. It takes a day to drive to Chandler, Quebec from Ottawa (12-hour drive) or Toronto (15-hour drive). If you've been planning to visit the East Coast this summer, then this is one spot you won't want to miss!
