Real winter has finally arrived and what better way to celebrate than spending some time outdoors in the snow! Us Canadians are built to not fear the cold which means we can spend hours frolicking outside in negative temperatures if we want to.

If the cold hasn't scared you inside this winter you should definitely head down to Peek'n Peak Resort which has a huge snow tubing park with a very special event that takes place after dark, Lunar Lights Tubing! The Lunar Lights Tubing at Peek'n Peak Resort offers a special nighttime tubing experience with a live light show produced by thousands of LED lights and projections.

Peek'n Peak Resort is located just across the border in Clymer, New York which is a short 3 hour and 15 minute drive from Toronto. That's not that much further than driving up to Blue Mountain for a ski day!

Tubing at the Peek'n Peak Resort is open on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays and their Lunar Lights Tubing begins every evening at dusk. In addition to the exciting light show, they also have a DJ onsite who is coordinating the lights and sounds for a totally unique experience every time!

In addition to the light and sound show the resort has added a new perk, offering hot cocoa, sandwiches, and soups served right at the base of the snow tubing hill so guests can warm up and get enough fuel to enjoy all their tubing!

For a 2-hour snow tubing pass it costs $20 and there's no additional charge for the Lunar Lights Tubing in the evenings. There's also no need to worry about dragging your tube up the steep hill during every run, they have a magic carpet lift that will easily bring you to the top so you can enjoy more runs!

They also have a Retreat Building located nearby the hill if you want to stop in, get warm, and enjoy full menu for dinner.
