Canada is a truly amazing country filled with surprises at every turn. Most people might look at Canada and judge it by the fact that we only have a few major cities and our population is so small, but it's because of those reasons that we're able to maintain our beautiful natural landscape!
If you drive across Canada you'll see everything from adorable lighthouses set against a bright blue ocean in the east coast, skyscrapers in Ontario, flat and expansive farmland in the prairies, and lush forests with turquoise lakes in the west coast.
There's no shortage of beauty to be discovered across Canada but one of the most magical things to experience is the glacier kayaking adventure in British Columbia!
Compass Heli Tours is a tour company based in Abbotsford, British Columbia which will take adventurers on a magical tour through the turquoise blue glacial waters! During the winter months these glacial lakes are completely frozen over but once early spring hits they melt and reveal the most amazing blue water pathways you've ever seen!
These tours are available from May until the end of October when the ice freezes again for the winter season. If you're looking for a magical spring adventure for 2019, this should definitely be added to your bucket list! If you want to make sure you're there for the pictures above when you'll be kayaking down turquoise blue paths through the ice you should make sure you go in May or June because the rest of the months it will look completely different!

Guests will first board a helicopter which will take them into the glacial mountains where you'll begin your kayaking tour. During different times of the year, there are various things to see such as sandy beaches and ice caves in August and even waterfall hikes!
This adventure is clearly something out of a fairytale land and they know it! The cost is on the pricier side at $5,000 for 4 people to take part in the experience. If you don't have a group of 4 to sign up with you can pay $1,250 per person and they'll match you up with other people to complete a full group. They also offer larger group options but you'll have to contact them for pricing.
If you're visiting during August to see the magical ice caves the tour of this area costs an extra $500 but looking at the pictures, it seems totally worth it!
