“You” Season 2 Teaser Trailer Will Send Chills Down Your Spine Thanks To Joe Goldberg

Over the last few weeks, both the Netflix and You Instagram accounts have done a great job of keeping fans of the show on their toes, eager for any news about the upcoming season. After nearly a year of waiting, the You season two teaser trailer is finally here and it looks even more chilling than the first season.
The show's creators have been teasing fans with news that the upcoming season is going to be a lot to handle, but now that the teaser trailer is here, we're beginning to see exactly what they meant.
The video clip opens up with some footage of the beautiful city of Los Angeles until we see Penn Badgely as Joe Goldberg heading into a coffee shop.
In typical Joe fashion, Goldberg begins judging everyone around him, from the guy sitting cross-legged at the counter eating a gluten-free muffin to the girl laughing to herself at a table, working on a screenplay that she hopes to publish.
From the first season of You, we know that Joe LOVES to scrutinize people around him, particularly those who he deems as "fake" on social media. Now that he's moved on from New York and into LA, he's definitely going to meet a lot of those types.
At the end of the clip, we see Joe make it to the counter of the coffee shop, where the barista asks him for his name. Instead of introducing himself as the Joe that we know and love to hate, he says, "Yeah, I'm Will" with the creepiest smirk of the century.
Although the teaser trailer doesn't clarify, it's possible that the barista could be Joe's love interest for the second season, who just so happens to be named Love.
With only 21 days until the highly anticipated second season hits Netflix, the countdown is on and fans of the show are already crafting theories about what sort of trouble Joe will get into this season.
You can check out the teaser trailer below while you wait for season two of You to hit Netflix on December 26.
