Ilana is an Associate Editor for MTL Blog. She’s obsessed with great storytelling in all its forms having worked in print, radio, television and theatre over the past decade. Byline look familiar? Her words have appeared in The Globe and Mail, the Toronto Star, The Kit, VICE, Salon, Foodism, The Beaverton and more. But her true passion is community reporting. Ilana has a journalism degree from Carleton University, and previously served as Op-Ed Editor of The Charlatan. She lives in Montreal’s Sud-Ouest so you’ll often find her scouting out good eats at Atwater Market or stalking cute dogs by the Lachine Canal.
