Jackie Vandinther

Senior Producer, Video & Social Jackie Vandinther (she/her) was the Senior Producer with Narcity Canada's video and social team. She played a pivotal role in our daily operations by overseeing the local live video initiatives and providing daily editorial guidance to video reporters across the country. Jackie has 13 years experience working in local and national newsrooms as a video journalist, writer, producer, on-air host and most recently, as a digital content editor with CTVNews.ca. Her exclusive reporting on a Yazidi woman's journey to Canada after escaping ISIS as a sex slave earned a nomination for the 2018 RTDNA Excellence in Innovation Award. Jackie is bilingual and holds a Bachelor of Broadcast Journalism from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University).
