Helena Hanson, Interim Managing Editor

Helena Hanson (she/her) is the Interim Managing Editor for Narcity, where she leads a passionate team of writers and editors. A first-class graduate of Cardiff University's School of Journalism, her forte is strong service journalism and breaking down complex topics into informative and digestible round-ups and news hits. Originally from the U.K., Helena has also lived in Australia and Canada.

Morgan Leet, Editor

Morgan Leet (she/her) is the Editor for Narcity. After graduating from Carleton University's School of Journalism and Communication, she jumped right into fulfilling her dream as a journalist and has since been published in a range of print and digital magazines. She has covered everything from environmental racism and local protests to exclusive interviews with actors and celebrities. East Coaster turned Vancouverite, she is falling more in love with her new home every day.

Avery Friedlander, Senior Copy Editor

Avery Friedlander (she/her) is the Senior Copy Editor for Narcity Media. She graduated in 2018 with a Bachelor of Journalism and English Minor from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University) and has been a professional grammar nitpicker ever since. Over the last decade, Avery has edited and written for national organizations including Canada Post, The War Amps, Mediaplus Advertising, Canadian Dental Association, Canadian Electricity Association and others.
