A scenic drive in BC takes you to these stunning wildflower meadows and to breathtaking views
This winding road takes scenic to the next level. A smooth drive taking you up to subalpine trails, zooming past wildflowers growing alongside the pavement, all with the backdrop of snow-capped peaks.
This parkway is a bit of a hidden gem, with all of the beauty the mountains but escaping the crowds that come with more popular destinations like the Icefield Parkway.
This is the Meadows in the Sky Parkway – which is just as dreamy as the name suggests. It's a spectacular 26 kilometre drive uphill, taking you into alpine elevations and the views that come with it.
At the end of the drive you'll be able to park and get access to easy trails and hikes, taking you through the beautiful subalpine wildflower meadows that the park is known for.
Mount Revelstoke National Park is brimming with adventure and breathtaking lookouts, and this drive is one of the best ways to take it all in.
You get the payoff of a massive hike up to the alpine, without the work usually required.
The park is also super close to the small town of Revelstoke. The town is lively and a perfect spot to stay as a base for exploring. It's got cute shops lined with heritage buildings and picturesque storefronts, and lots of things to do.
