This easy BC trail takes you past a dramatic gorge, cascading waterfall and turquoise waters
This easy hike in B.C. gives you all the views without all the effort. A trail takes you along the rocky cliffs over rushing waters, framed by towering canyon walls and a beautiful waterfall. It's all with the backdrop of the jagged mountain peaks, which are signatures of the area.
Marble Canyon is set in the beautiful Kootenay National Park, where you can experience the beauty of the Canadian Rockies.
The trail is about 1.5 kilometres long, and AllTrails rates it as "easy," taking about 25 minutes to complete. In the short time it takes to walk the trail, you'll be greeted with unreal viewpoints, looking out onto the incredible natural scenery.

A quick walk through Marble Canyon Park takes you past the vibrant turquoise water, a stunning waterfall, and the unique limestone gorge.
The trailhead is just off the highway, making it easy to access. It also has multiple bridges that float you above the canyon, giving you a unique view.
From the top of the canyon you can see the towering cliffs surrounding, before getting a view of the powerful waterfall.
From the pathway, you can watch the water cascade down a steep drop, disappearing down a crevice.
Although it's in B.C., this spot is close to the Alberta border and is just 40 minutes away from the popular tourist town of Banff. It is the perfect pit stop on a road trip through the Rockies and an easy way to soak in nature's beauty.
