This is Yoho Valley Road, a journey that Parks Canada has dubbed one of the "most beautiful roads in Canada," where you can take in the beauty of B.C. from your car.
The drive involves tight turns and switchbacks, but takes you into the impressive scenery of the area. Think expansive valleys, roaring rivers, and jagged peaks.
The scenic drive is 14 kilometres long, and while the views from the car window are pretty unreal, it has stops worth stepping outside for.
Along the way you'll be able to take on incredible hikes like Twin Falls, Laughing Falls and the Iceline — each offering spectacular viewpoints.
Takakkaw Falls is a must-see stop in the park, as one of the tallest waterfalls in Canada. The breathtaking falls is 373 metres high, and is definitely a magical sight.
Wapta Falls is also in the park, and while it's shorter at only 30 meters high it's still large, stretching 150 meters wide. It's a gentle hike through the forest to reach this powerful falls.
