Ce n'est pas tous les jours qu'un casino ouvre ses portes au Québec et c'est pourquoi l'ouverture du Grand Casino Royal de Wôlinak, a suscité l'intérêt de 500 personnes qui sont allées le visiter dès son premier soir le 28 février 2022.

Le projet est unique parce que l'établissement situé dans la région du Centre-du-Québec ne sera pas administré par Loto-Québec, mais plutôt par la communauté autochtone locale. Celui-ci veut offrir une expérience de jeu singulière et du même coup faire découvrir la culture abénakise.
