Groundglass Casting is currently casting people of all ages and backgrounds for a new Toronto-based charity commercial, and the pay is seriously impressive.
You could earn between $1,050 and $1,300 for just one day of filming.
The Toronto casting call is wide open to people aged 6 to 60, with no acting experience required. What they are looking for is a mix of energy, passion and comfort in front of a camera.
Here's the breakdown of roles:
- Male arc welders (ages 45–60)
- Female basketball players (ages 16–20)
- Male soccer players (ages 10–14)
- Male soccer coaches (ages 35–40)
- Drummers (ages 6-16)
This casting call is for a Food Banks Canada PSA. It is a non-union shoot, and filming will take place in Toronto on August 13 or 14, with only one day required for your participation.
If selected, there's a short wardrobe appointment scheduled for August 12, which pays an additional $50. If your image is used in any still photos from the shoot, that's another $250 in your pocket.
